If you are a Christian eventually your going to hear about the Rapture.

What is the rapture, and is there a rapture?

1 Corinthians 15:51-52 mentions we will all be changed in the twinkling of an eye, at the "last trumpet", Revelation 10:7 and 11:15 is reference to the trumpet and last trumpet.

51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

Matthew 24:29-31 says "Immediately after the tribulation" and again "loud trumpet call" and gather his elect is reference to verse 1 Corinthians 15:51-52

29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 again mentions the "trumpet of God".

16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

In Revelation 6:11 "who were to be killed as they themselves had been", wait a minute we are in tribulation, and there are Christians in the tribulation?

9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the witness they had borne. 10 They cried out with a loud voice, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?” 11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

Revelation 7:14 we've got Christians coming out of the tribulation "These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation", again during the tribulation?

14 I said to him, “Sir, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones coming out of the great tribulation. They have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Revelation 8:1 shows seven angels are given "seven trumpets", remember the trumpets from verses above.

1 When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. 2 Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them.

Revelation 10:7 and "days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled", the mystery of God would be fulfilled. Wow, that's a big one that I've been waiting for.

7 but that in the days of the trumpet call to be sounded by the seventh angel, the mystery of God would be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.

Revelation 11:15 the "seventh angel blew his trumpet" this is it the last trumpet, here we verse.

15 Then the seventh angel blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he shall reign forever and ever.”

In Revelation 11:18 "the time for the dead to be judged", wait a minute a time to be judged, that would mean Jesus has returned. Then the last verse for chapter 11 is Revelation 11:19, "God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple" seems like judgment time, but we have some chapters still, let's continue.

18 The nations raged, but your wrath came, and the time for the dead to be judged, and for rewarding your servants, the prophets and saints, and those who fear your name, both small and great, and for destroying the destroyers of the earth.” 19 Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and the ark of his covenant was seen within his temple. There were flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake, and heavy hail.

Here we go with Revelation 13:8, we have "saints", and in Revelation 13:9 don't miss this part "has not" been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life, and that says there are people with there names in the book of life, Christians still alive. If you question that one, keep going.

7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation, 8 and all who dwell on earth will worship it, everyone whose name has not been written before the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slain.

Revelation 14:4 are the 144,000 and I'll save this for later, but I'll mention "firstfruits for God and the Lamb" is very important but for this subject and I'll just say it is about the harvest.

4 It is these who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These have been redeemed from mankind as firstfruits for God and the Lamb,

Revelation 14:13 we have "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on", hum who dies in the Lord from now on...Jews or Christians?

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.” “Blessed indeed,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!”

Revelation 14:16 we have the harvest, remember the "firstfruits".

16 So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

Revelation 16:15 who "stays awake" and is supposed to keep there "garments" on, Christians. (this is in tribulation).

15 “Behold, I am coming like a thief! Blessed is the one who stays awake, keeping his garments on, that he may not go about naked and be seen exposed!”

Revelation 18:4 what does it say "Come out of her, my people", some will say the Jews and others Christians, the point is God's people during tribulation.

4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues;

Revelation 20:4 clearly says "those who had not worshiped the beast" and "had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands" and here it is "They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years". Read it for yourself it clearly says during the Great Tribulation there are people that don't worship the beast and did not receive the mark, they will come to life and reign with Christ, these are called Christians! Why are they Christians, because Christians are the ones that reign with Christ for a thousand years. Then Revelation 20:5 says this is the "first resurrection", known as the Rapture!

4 Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5 The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.

I know allot of people will have a very hard time with this and I'm one of them, maybe because I've been taught something very different. All I can say is read the bible for yourself, that is very important. Don't just listen to what people say, learn it for yourself. If this article is right we need to prepare for the Great Tribulation because God will use us to help those that don't believe in Jesus.

Note: God doesn't think just linear, Revelation has many book and it is not chronological, it goes forward in time, backward in time, and current time with multiple layers of stories.

When I first got saved, I wanted to devour the Bible, everything was so amazing. I had grown up hearing about the rapture. In the process of my salvation I fell in love with the book of revelation. And Jesus showed me there is no rapture. He’s second coming it’s so clear to me. With time I have com...View More
