In Revelation 6 when the First Seal is opened it says, "behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him"! Who is this "being" riding the White Horse?
Let's start with aligning our timeline of Revelation 6 with other verses. In Daniel 12:4 it states "time of the end" providing us information this verse is talking about the end times. We already know Revelation talks about the end times, I'll just say for now these two verses are in the same ball park.
The next item is the White Horse and what it represents. Something white is a symbol of Purity.
- Revelation 7:14 "They have washed their robes and made them white".
Let's add the items Bow and Crown, representing Power and Honor.
- If you have ever shot a Bow and Arrow then you know how a Bow works, the Power is in the Bow to shoot the Arrow.
- John 19:5 "So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple robe".
- There are so many verses about the Crown representing Honor, a simple search for Crown will show them.
With the current information we have a timeline of verses, symbol of purity, power, and honor. There are not many "beings" that can represent such a person, but if we look a few verses before Daniel 12:4 we see:
- Daniel 12:1 "Michael, the great prince shall rise during a time of trouble"!
Using the Bible to compare, verses, timelines, and symbolism, we can clearly see Michael the great prince shall rise during a time of trouble during the last days.
In the next topic will go into what roll Michael plays during this end times and why it is not Jesus.
And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.
“At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book.
But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
